Meghan Markle's Royal Life Is More Isolating Than Ever

Prince Charles is said to call Meghan Markle "Tungsten" after the metal, because of her "tough and unbending" nature.

The glam squad is of course available to her, but there is one simple reason why she has made a decision to become the master of her own brushes and pots: she doesn't like the fuss involved and just wants to get on with her day. She also likes to experiment with the tonal resources and try something new.

So, Martin did what anyone might do: "I showed her some pictures on my phone and she was like, 'Ok great.' So that was the extent of our makeup trial!"

Indeed, her 74-year-old dad, Thomas Markle, has spoken out against his daughter and her husband, telling Good Morning Britain he fears he's being "frozen out" by the couple. "She's a naturally curious person, so she loves learning what worked for her friends when it comes to their fertility".

And it's a makeup bag staple for many.

So it was fortunate that he knew her style, as the two didn't exactly have a lot of time to have a proper makeup test before the big day. She prefers to accent her features and get on with her royal duties rather than worry about baking and highlighting.

CBS Miami entertainment and lifestyle reporter Lisa Petrillo first posted the snap of Twitter implying that it was the newest addition to the royal family. For example, you can often see the Duchess with a darker smokey eye during evening events and galas.

"She is still going to be seeing and speaking to her most trusted friends just as before", she said, adding that she is "getting used to a more discreet social life".

And one make-up product you'll never see Meghan wearing anymore is red lipstick.

"They're so affectionate and the last thing I'd want to do is prevent that happening because she has a red lip on. @KensingtonRoyal", she tweeted at the time.
