Hugo Lloris: Tottenham goalkeeper out for 'several weeks' with thigh injury

Speaking at his prematch news conference, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino said Alli had a hamstring problem while Lloris could be out for several weeks with a thigh injury.

A few days after he was charged, Lloris kept a clean sheet during a 3-0 win for Spurs against Manchester United at Old Trafford, however he was absent for their 2-1 defeat to Watford and missed France's recent worldwide games due to a thigh injury.

Spurs will be without captain Hugo Lloris and midfielder Dele Alli for Saturday's lunchtime clash with Liverpool.

The head coach added: "Of course he's the first that regrets everything, and all that happened yesterday is not good. He made a mistake and is suffering, and is punishing himself". If people don't want to take it's not [that] we can help.

Mauricio Pochettino says he has no worries about the fitness of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

Klopp will be hoping that no more of his players return from worldwide duty injured, but Spurs have already revealed that two otherwise-guaranteed starters are unavailable.
