World Boxing Association (WBA) and World Boxing Organisation (WBO) titles will be on the line - weighed in yesterday at 17 stone 8 pounds (111.5 kilogrammes), whilst 39-year-old Povetkin tipped the scales at 15st 12lbs.

Joshua, 28, has admitted to feeling under "tons of pressure" as he returns to the scene of arguably his greatest triumph, an 11th-round stoppage of former champion Wladimir Klitschko a year ago.

"Coming back is a blessing - it's time to put on a performance", said Joshua at a Wembley news conference on Thursday.

However, he slimmed down for his last bout versus Joseph Parker. Povetkin (34-1, 24 KO's), who fought on the undercard, scored a brutal fifth-round KO over David Price. I've come to a stage now where I have a deep world and my hearts big.

That one loss, by a unanimous decision, came against Wladimir Klitschko in October 5, 2013, incidentally the same day Joshua was making his professional debut against Emanuele Leo.

In the buildup to Saturday's fight, Joshua has talked about how he trained with cruiserweights to prepare for Povetkin's smaller build.

"That's what I say in boxing, there's no league one, league two.You are either the best or you're not".

"And I'm expecting the same type of fight because..." The fight will show everything.

The champion is the clear favourite but he was taking nothing for granted and said he had trained for a tough fight.

"Go out there - he strong to the head, whip him to the body, he strong to the body I'll whip him to the head".

"Just signed my contract for the Fury fight", the Bronze Bomber revealed. "I don't make predictions, it will be an interesting and thrilling fight". I know how to box.

"Wembley is there - a date and a location - it's just the person who wants to step up and fight me".

Joshua is also heavier than he was in March ahead of his fight against Joseph Parker.
