Apple iPhone Launch Event

Last year, Apple previewed a charging mat called AirPower, but never mentioned it again.

However, if you were to skip the announcement altogether, you would miss one of the more interesting launches in recent years.

Apple is all set to launch its next generation iPhones in a couple of days.

Expected to lead the iPhone rollout is a low-priced version of the iPhone X, referred by some as "iPhone Xr", which could super-charge unit shipments. The new phones landed in stores a week later on Friday, Sept. 22. However, look at the dual SIM - it's different than the one that was photographed earlier. However, now thanks to Kuo it seems we know pretty much everything that is about to be launched.

On Twitter, a computer coder called Scott Swezey wrote: "XS" sounds eXtra Small to me.

Analysts at Bank of America Merrill Lynch predict that the moving of iPhone production to the U.S. would result in a further price drop of around 20pc. According to the report, the iPhone XS with 5.8-inch screen will be priced $1079, which is roughly around Rs 78,000. It brings some weight to the fact that Apple is committing to the iPhone X moniker for a significant time in the future. The iPhone Xr will have aluminum on the sides, unlike stainless steel on the more premium iPhone Xs series. And Italy tends to be among the first wave of countries to get the new iPhones when Apple unveils new devices.

"Apple prices may increase because of the massive Tariffs we may be imposing on China - but there is an easy solution where there would be ZERO tax, and indeed a tax incentive", the president wrote.

As always, it's possible that these reports could be inaccurate or doctored, but we'll find out for sure on September 12th during Apple's event.

The main feature many are hoping will appear is StreamKit, which would enable things like Spotify to function properly on the Watch, but we're not convinced of that.

Even though it is fun to hear details before the even from 12th of September, these leaks might not be as accurate as we hope.

What's that? A new tablet in the mix as well? Past year reports believed that we'll see an iPhone Pro, but these never materialized.
