Arsenal boss Unai Emery has revealed that he will be able to call upon the services of Spanish defender Nacho Monreal for Saturday's Premier League clash with Chelsea.

Emery is also under pressure to deliver a positive result following the opening-day defeat, which showed that his new-look Arsenal team is still a work in progress, but he insisted there is no reason to change his philosophy or way of playing because of that result.

Asked about the captaincy situation prior to Chelsea's trip to Huddersfield, Sarri said: "Tomorrow I think Cesar Azpilicueta, but it's not the final decision".

Arsenal signed Leno for £22m from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer but the German will have to bide his time while Cech keeps his place between the sticks.

Petr Cech was left unamused after a video appeared on Twitter mocking an attempted pass that nearly resulted in an own goal in the match between Arsenal and Manchester City, getting over 7,500 likes since it was posted on Sunday. One player who received much of the criticism was goalkeeper Petr Cech.

"I think on Sunday against Manchester City, the team kept their ideas, kept their spirit in the game for the full 90 minutes, even when we were losing, and didn't let their heads go down. I want consistency", said Emery on Thursday.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles was drafted in to start at left-back against Pep Guardiola's men but the 20-year-old limped off midway through the first half and it's been confirmed he's out for up to two months with a fractured leg.

I feel like it's every other day that I'm saying something along the lines of "we really need to have some confidence in what is going on at the back".

Experienced Swiss worldwide Lichtsteiner is a right-back by trade and Emery is hopeful Monreal will be fit to face Chelsea after returning to training this week.
