Teenager Stefanos Tsitsipas knocks Novak Djokovic out of Rogers Cup

In other matches, fourth seed South Kevin Anderson beat Belarusian qualifier Ilya Ivashka 7-5, 6-3 and fifth seed Grigor Dimitrov advanced with a 7-6 (7-1), 3-6, 7-6 (7-4) win over American Frances Tiafoe. And I actually thought I was playing bad the whole match.

At 30-40, Zverev floated his second serve well long to end the match in two hours 27 minutes.

Second seed Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark also crashed out after she lost 5-7, 6-2, 7-6 to Belarus' Aryna Sabalenka.

In the other quarterfinal, Karen Khachanov of Russian Federation will play Robin Haase of the Netherlands.

Toronto's Daniel Nestor - the oldest player at the tournament at 45 - and Vancouver's Vasek Pospisil were scheduled to play their first-round doubles match in the late afternoon.
