Daniels, who found fame over claims she was paid for her silence over an alleged affair with USA president Donald Trump, had been widely expected to feature on the Channel 5 show.

'Celebrity Big Brother' kicked off last night but fans were left disappointed when Stormy Daniels didn't show up after it was heavily rumoured that she would be entering the house.

Her lawyer claimed on Friday that Daniels had a row with the programme's producers who were pressuring her to act in a way she felt uncomfortable with.

Daniels was then booked to appear on ITV's Loose Women chat show on Friday afternoon to explain what happened, but again failed to appear on screen despite making it to the studio on time.

According to BBC News, Stormy's lawyer, Michael Avenatti, has also branded the speculation about Stormy's pay cheque a "false rumour".

"She says also that the stories about her asking for more money are complete rubbish".

As you may know, Stormy's alleged affair with Donald Trump was the subject of much media controversy, with the actress claiming she was paid $130,000 in hush money to keep quiet during the 2016 presidential campaign.

"She says that, late last night, she was due to be on Celebrity Big Brother and there was a custody development involving her daughter in America - she is in the middle of a divorce". "But now the cast has caught wind of the deal Stormy made for her stint on the show, and the number is mind-boggling".

"She thought "I can't commit", she said being a mother comes first".

Daniels hit back at the accusations she asked for more money, allegedly telling Loose Women panellist Jane Moore backstage, it was due to a custody issue with her daughter in the US.

"Producers discussed a variety of options with her but were unable to agree any acceptable conditions for her entering the house", a spokesperson for the network added.

Her departure has apparently left producers particularly red-faced as the Celebrity Big Brother launch show set had been created to reference the 39-year-old's alleged affair with the President.

Stormy Daniels was expected to star in the United Kingdom version of "Celebrity Big Brother".

A TV insider told The Sun: 'Stormy has signed a contract for Celebrity Big Brother.

The president denies the allegations.
