According to KDKA's Bob Pompeani, Roethlisberger traveled to Wisconsin with the Steelers and is reportedly "ok".

Roethlisberger did not appear in Pittsburgh's lone preseason game against the Eagles last week.

Steelers training camp came to an end on Tuesday at Latrobe Memorial Field, but it came with a considerable scare 90 minutes before the final whistle.

As Roethlisberger dropped back to throw a pass, he fell backwards, leading those to believe at camp that someone stepped on his foot, causing him to fall and hit his head hard on the ground.

Roethlisberger was examined by trainers and then walked to the side of the field and sat on a cooler for a few moments before leaving.

The Steelers plan to get a closer look at their two most recent draft picks at quarterback, and that was before Ben Roethlisberger suffered a possible concussion. "That's my guy. I wouldn't want to see anything happen to him, especially in a practice like this".

Center Maurkice Pouncey told reporters Roethlisberger said "he was fine, he was good".

Thursday morning, however, Roethlisberger was spotted with the team in Green Bay.

"I'm going to be preparing to play well and execute our plan", Rudolph said.

The Steelers arguably are the second-best team in the AFC behind the New England Patriots, but they'll only contend for a Super Bowl title if Roethlisberger is healthy and playing.
