PTI to officially nominate Imran Khan as PM

On July 18, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman had asked for more time to appear before the NAB, citing unavailibility due to campaigning for general elections.

A spokesman says Pakistan's next prime minister, Imran Khan, has appeared before an anti-graft bureau in connection with his alleged misuse of a government helicopter. Sharing a number of messages sent directly to his Instagram inbox or his social media handle, Bollywood actor, Imran Khan, of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan/ Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na fame, expressed how he how being confused as the wrong Imran Khan.

Imran Khan, set to open a new innings as Pakistan's next prime minister after his party unanimously named the cricketer-turned-politician to the top post, today vowed to live up to the people's mandate and steer the country out of the current financial crisis.

"Our party strength is now at 125 after the inclusion of nine independents but total numbers reached to 174 with allies and the party's reserved seats in the National Assembly, Fawad Chudhary, the PTI spokesman, claimed". Sharif is now appealing a 10-year prison sentence for corruption and the party is led by his brother, Shabaz Sharif.

Maryam Aurangzeb, a spokeswoman and former information minister, said the Pakistan Muslim League will hold a protest against poll rigging in front of the election oversight body on Aug 8.

He said that the PTI has become the real federal party as it got seats in all the provinces as well as the trial area.

They said that it's been a great achievement of Imran Khan to have awakened political awareness among the youth. "I will come up to people's expectations".

Qureshi insisted the opposition would not be able to undermine the upcoming government and quoted Imran as saying during Monday's meeting that all they can do is "create a rumpus". The party won 129 seats there.

Sharif will have to settle or the onerous job of leader of the opposition as Khan's part has enough support to form the government. "The affidavit shall be duly sworn before an oath commissioner and shall be deposited with the provincial election commission or deputy director (cord.), the Election Commission Secretariat", it said.
