Manigault Newman, 44, met Trump in 2004 when she was a candidate on the American version of The Apprentice, which he hosted.

Manigault Newman is appearing on the show to promote her new book, "Unhinged", which will be released next week.

Because of his alleged use of racial slurs - particularly the N-word - Manigault Newman concluded that he is a racist and a bigot, according to the Associated Press.

A reporter asks Trump if he feels betrayed by Omarosa, to which he responds: "Lowlife". When Trump became potus, she got hired as the director of communications for the office of public liaison, but left in December 2017.

"This is a White House where everybody lies. you have to have your back", Manigault Newman said on NBC's "Meet the Press" on why she recorded her conversation with Kelly as he was firing her. In the book, she paints Trump as scattered, self-absorbed, misogynistic and insecure.

She said: 'I was told exactly what Donald Trump said - yes, the N-word and others in a classic Trump-goes-nuclear rant - and when he's said them. "I had to go through the pain of witnessing his racism with my own eyes, and hearing it with my own ears, many times, until I couldn't deny it any longer".

"It's sad that a disgruntled former White House employee is trying to profit off these false attacks, and even worse that the media would now give her a platform, after not taking her seriously when she had only positive things to say about the President during her time in the administration", Sanders said. She acknowledges she had never been able to obtain or hear the tapes but said three unnamed sources had described their contents.

She worked on his 2016 presidential campaign, during which she said Trump's detractors would eventually have to "bow down" to him. The White House says the book is "riddled with lies and false accusations".
