Paul Pogba: 'Brighton had more hunger - we did not deserve to win'

UNITED boss Jose Mourinho will splash out on a centre-back in January if his side are still in the title race.

The United manager also said "you don't need to be disrespectful to have a fantastic movie" when asked to give his thoughts on the programme.

"If we put in a similar performance, then I'll be happy". "I can not criticise the desire of my players".

"I don't think they will". Expect from me to be really happy to say after Leicester, A, B, C, D an wonderful performance, this and that.

"I don't want to go in that direction".

And Mourinho would not criticise his players, believing that he would receive unfavourable media coverage after alleged disputes with the likes of Luke Shaw and Paul Pogba. Maybe we didn't have attitude to break them, to kill them when we had to kill them, to go through the lines, and that's a lesson we have to keep in mind and play much better next game.

"We were punished by the mistakes we made". Different teams, different tactics. Proven at a top-class club, Zidane would bring fresh ideas to a stale-looking United, and he is sure to be able to get the best out of Paul Pogba, who appears in a constant battle with Mourinho.

The day's captain, Pogba admitted that the defeat was deserved, and that he was partly to blame: "We lost, we did not deserve to win".

"I am not going to speak about the market", he said. The tempo was very good.

But just when United expected to force their way back into the contest, more poor defending cost them again.

Yet again Jose Mourinho is making the headlines off the pitch, recently branding rivals Man City of having "No Class" following their new documentary being released.

Sergio Aguero hit a hat-trick as Manchester City's record-breaking forward inspired a 6-1 demolition of Huddersfield on Sunday.

The last comment referred to the Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium in April when City had printed souvenirs in expectation of clinching the title against Mourinho's men, only for United to come from behind to win 3-2, delaying the title celebrations by two weeks. "I agree with him, with José, you can not buy class". We did it for ourselves.

I don't think its right that City have dragged up interviews with Jose and De Bruyne, obviously that was a mistake.

"This was not our intention, [it was] just filming what happened last season".

The movie shows an animated Guardiola telling his players to "hate me" after drawing at Crystal Palace while his half-time team talk during the Carabao Cup final at Wembley is passionate. "We decided today we would play with two strikers".
