Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra confirm engagement with Instagram snaps

Priyanka, earlier today, confirmed the news of her engagement to American singer Nick Jonas with a photo that she captioned, "Taken".

It is understood Jonas proposed to Chopra in London for her 36th birthday after shutting down a Tiffany store in NY to choose a ring. It is unclear if any other Jonas brothers attended but Joe Jonas did post a note for Priyanka on Instagram welcoming her to the family.

Jonas posted an intimate photo of him and his bride-to-be looking deeply into each other eyes (above), captioning the pic "future Mrs. Jonas. My Heart. My Love".

Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra also made a grand entrance at the venue as she smiled and blew kisses at shutterbugs.

Priyanka had been making efforts to hide the sparkler, but in the photograph that she has shared, the rock takes the limelight. PC had sent out messages to her family members and close friends to mark August 18 on their calendar without giving exact details of the event planned.

Nick had met Priyanka's family in June and even spent quality time with them in Goa. We performed Grah Shanti, Ganesh Puja, Aarti and havan.

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra have been serving relationship goals on and off the red carpet.

Choreographer Mustaq khan also reached Priyanka Chopra's house.

According to the Indian Express, the couple will have a star-studded engagement party later on Saturday.

On Saturday morning, the "Quantico" actress took to Instagram and shared a touching photo with her rock star fiance. Nick's parents - mother Denise and father Kevin Jonas Sr - who flew down from the United States with their son for the occasion on Thursday - also dressed in Indian wear for the celebrations.
