With Motorola P30, another smartphone has been added to the list of "it is a copy of iPhone X" list.

For now, there is no word regarding the global release of this Motorola smartphone. Around front there is a 12MP camera.

Motorola P30, the iPhone X look-alike, has been launched in China. The notch allows for an edge-to-edge display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a large screen real estate. The screen has a 2.5D curved glass layer on top.

"One starts to wonder whether Jony Ive's design group at Apple has become the de facto owner for the reference design for all high-end smartphones". That's for the model with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage; the variant with 128GB of storage will be available for ¥2,499 ($360). The main 16-megapixel sensor made by OmnoVision has wider f/1.8 aperture while the secondary sensor has f/2.2 aperture.

The Moto P30 runs on an octa-core 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz with an Adreno 509 GPU taking care of the graphics processing. The smartphone supports a microSD card of up to 256GB. This processor is teamed up with 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of default storage space. At the front of the Lenovo Z5 is an 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture, AI beautification, and AI Face Unlock features. Both the front and rear cameras come accompanied by a LED flash. While the company has officially launched the Motorola P30 today in China, the listing went live a couple of days earlier.

It is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery that also supports 18W Fast charging input.

The Motorola P30 arrives with USB-C port on the bottom, placed between two speaker grilles, sending the 3.5 mm audio jack on the top side. On the other hand, if you are someone who loves to capture selfies often and wants a smartphone that offers impressive battery life, the OPPO F9 is more ideal.

The Motorola P30 has been unveiled for the Chinese market, and it appears to be a pretty solid mid-range handset. Share your views in the comments section.
