Spurs started the new campaign with a 2-1 win over Newcastle United last weekend, but the London side were far from convincing.

Lucas Moura opened the scoring for Spurs two minutes before the break and Aleksandar Mitrovic gave Fulham hope with the equaliser seven minutes after the break.

"Overall we were much better and deserved the three points, but we still need to improve".

"After drawing a blank at St James's Park Harry Kane has now gone 14 games without a Premier League goal in the month of August, but he is likely to have the opportunities to right that wrong at the weekend".

Here are three possible ways Fulham could line up at Wembley, as the club seeks their first league points of the season.

"We know this team are probably going to take possession off us, and we must be ready to work all together off the ball, and show solidarity and great effort", he said.

"It looked like it would be one of those days for me, but that is the game of a striker".

In contrast to Spurs, West Ham splurged almost £100 million in the transfer market to back new manager Manuel Pellegrini but still have no points to show for it after a second-half surrender to Bournemouth. Tottenham had several chances but were unable to capitalize, even though their buildup play was very good. They showed resiliency by managing to bring the game level after going down 1-0 just before the first half.

In a possible final twist, Jokanovic could view the Spurs match as a chance to see how well-suited many of his new signings are to Premier League football.

The Brazilian started his second consecutive Premier League game and was a prominent figure throughout, nearly scoring early on with a header before eventually finding the net just before half-time.

Promoted Cardiff had appeared the more likely to win when Newcastle midfielder Isaac Hayden was sent off midway through the second half.
