Throughout the rant she referred to him as a "beta male" and said he took steroids and got hair plugs to make a more alpha transformation.

The "stupidity" Banks was referring to may have been Musk's announcement of plans to take his electric vehicle company Tesla private. She started by posting an Instagram story, announcing that she was at Elon Musk's house because she and Grimes were going to work on a new song for her second album, Fantasea II: The Second Wave.

Grimes, for her part, has not publicly commented on Banks' allegations.

In the aftermath, she made several explosive claims, one that seems to have caught a lot of attention is the fact she said the Tesla chairman had been tweeting on acid. 'He was stressed and red in the face'. "I'm going to wait one more day then I'm going to go home", her first message read.

Gizmodo reached out to Musk for comment over Twitter DM, and he claimed to have "never even met [Banks] or communicated with her in any way". She said she arrived at one of Musk's homes in Los Angeles early on Friday and left on Sunday night. "All the songs are finished except lorelei and grimes song", she tweeted. "Staying at Elon Musks (sic) house has been like a real life episode of "Get Out, '" she added, without offering up any further details".

The rapper Azealia Banks claimed that she spent the weekend at Elon Musk's house, setting social media ablaze.

Banks told Business Insider she found out Musk does not have funding secured for the vehicle company's privatization.

Recently, Musk's tweets have included saying Tesla will start selling "short shorts" as merch, as well as thigh-high sockboots and thigh high socks with pockets for lipliner and cards.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Tesla is also refuting Banks' story, telling website Jalopnik that her claims are "complete nonsense".

"He's not cute at all in person", Banks added.

'Going back nearly two years, the Saudi Arabian sovereign wealth fund has approached me multiple times about taking Tesla private, ' Musk wrote in the blog post.

In less dramatic Grimes collab news, she'll be appearing on a new track from Mindless Self Indulgence's Jimmy Urine this fall.

In 2016, accused Beyoncé on Twitter of stealing from other artists, while in June this year, she was kicked off Twitter for insulting RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Monet X Change.
