Sources told TMZ that Lovato's family spoke with her about checking into treatment after she started feeling better, and she is consenting.

Her team threatened the singer to "either go to a facility for help, or lose our number", according to TMZ. "I would throw up and it would just be blood and it was something that I realized if I don't stop this", she said, "I am going to die".

Lovato, now 25, entered rehab for the first time in 2010, when she was also diagnosed as bipolar and received therapy for an eating disorder and self-harming.

According to the publication, relatives of the artist were afraid to advise her rehabilitation, given her condition. She had suffered a drug overdose.

Demi Lovato's assistant reportedly thought she was dead after she found the singer suffering an apparent overdose.

Demi has always loved her life and would have never wanted to commit a mistake that would cost her life.

Though Lovato previously got treatment in IL, it's unclear where she'll be treated this time around. She would not say what drugs she took, but Narcan was used to save her life, which reverses the effects of opioids. "Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now".

In June, she released a song called "Sober" about a relapse after six years of sobriety. As it turns out, ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, 38, who has been by her side during this entire ordeal, may have had something to do with her decision.
