DeSantis prevailed in the GOP primary with the help of an endorsement from President Trump.

Asked whether he thinks Democrats should try to impeach the president if they retake the House, Gillum responded, "I absolutely do".

Levine, thought to have been the second most-popular candidate of the three for several weeks, finished a distant third with about 20 percent of the vote and lost his home county of Miami-Dade to Gillum by almost 10,000 votes.
