There's a new queen in town.

Season three of Netflix's "The Crown" is now filming, and is expected to debut on the streaming service in all its British glory some time in 2019.

The first official photograph of British actress Olivia Colman in her new role as Queen Elizabeth II in the third season of the Netflix series "The Crown" was revealed on Twitter Monday, accompanied by just one word - "patience".

Colman, 44, has taken over the role of the monarch from Claire Foy, who played the Queen in the first two series of the Netflix royal drama. 'You can't ask someone to act middle-aged. Rather than apply make-up to the original cast to make them appear older during the passage of time, everyone has been recast, including lead Claire Foy. "Someone has to bring their own fatigue to it".

Tobias Menzies will continue the role of Prince Phillip, played previously by Matt Smith, with Helena Bonham Carter taking over from Vanessa Kirby as Princess Margaret. The show is also set to cover Prince Charles' marriage to Princess Diana and his subsequent affair with Camilla Parker-Bowles - now the Duchess of Cornwall - and the Margaret Thatcher era.

But as for what we do know: today, Netflix released the first image of Colman as Her Majesty, and it is pretty much ideal.

The Crown season 3 will likely arrive sometime in 2019. "The only thing I would say is take vitamins and get lots of sleep".
