While Stranger Things 2 waited until October to debut, the very first season dropped in July of 2016. There are plenty of locations one might expect to see in a mall in 1985, which should ring the nostalgia bells quite loudly for those who remember pursuing such stores. Make sure you check out the full clip in the player below and let us know what you think.

Lastly, the teaser ends by saying that Starcourt Mall is "coming next summer", possibly hinting at a release time for season three.

So we know that Steve is still very much a part of the Stranger Things story going into Season 3, but so far, that is all we know.

In a classically eighties style video, viewers are shown a promotional video for a new mall in Hawkins, Indiana called Starcourt Mall. The teaser depicts the character of Steve Harrington, played by Joe Keery, as working in the Scoops Ahoy ice cream shop in the mall's "state of the art food court".

You'll have to sit through about a minute and a half of an ad for the Starcourt Mall (and nearly the same amount of time for Steve himself), but at the very end, it says that the mall is "coming next summer".

If there's one thing that best defines the 1980s, it's the shopping mall. This place covers all the mall greatest hits, from the Sam Goody to the Orange Julius to the good old '80s font of the Claire's boutique sign.
