Daniels, 39, has filed two civil lawsuits against Trump, with whom she said she had a sexual encounter in 2006, a decade before he was elected president.

OH prosecutors on Thursday threw out charges against porn star Stormy Daniels, a day after she was arrested for allegedly rubbing undercover cops' faces into her breasts while performing at a strip club.

Though Daniels' lawyer Michael Avenatti said he believes the arrest was political, Ford said the club isn't anxious about any issues of the kind in SC.

She was released on bail before 6am on Thursday. "The officers also observed Ms. Clifford fondling the breasts of female patrons", Franklin County Municipal Court records show.

Avenatti told The Post the arrest was a politically motivated "sting operation".

Stormy Daniels has been arrested at a strip club in OH after allowing a patron to touch her while she was performing. "We will fight all bogus charges", Avenatti wrote.

Daniels was booked under a 10-year-old state law known as the Community Defense Act that says dancers at "sexually oriented" businesses are prohibited from touching customers and vice versa.

The documents said that Daniels, who was semi-nude, allegedly touched some of the patrons' breasts and allowed them to touch her.

"Are you kidding me?" he asked. "There has to be higher priorities!", he added.

Avenatti told The Washington Post that undercover officers later approached Daniels and told her she would be arrested. He said Thursday afternoon in a tweet he was pleased prosecutors dropped the charges and thanked them for their professionalism.

Klein said he would investigate whether his office should pursue charges against other defendants arrested during the same sting operation.

President Trump's alleged mistress Stormy Daniels was arrested on Wednesday night.

Avenatti tweeted just before 7 a.m. Thursday that Daniels would "issue a plea of "Not Guilty" to the charges.

A person who answered the phone at Sirens declined to comment.

Daniels planned to be in Columbus Wednesday and Thursday as part of a nationwide tour, Avenatti said.

According to a report by the Columbus Dispatch last fall, instances of violations of the law are rare, with the local Franklin County Sheriff's Office telling the paper at the time that it had never been cited within their jurisdiction.

Cohen has said he made the payment.

Daniels has said Trump's personal attorney Michael Cohen paid her the $130,000.
