Samsung Galaxy S10 might feature triple-camera setup

That rumor suggested that the Galaxy X could run as much as $1,850 without carrier subsidies. The Galaxy X will likely not cannibalize sales for the Galaxy S10, as the foldable smartphone is expected to be a niche device with a price tag that may go as high as around $1,800, almost double the price of the $1,000 iPhone X by rival Apple. The battery, which will be manufactured by Samsung SDI, is tipped to be a giant 6,000 mAh unit that folds. But even if the company doesn't go down this route, it could always use two individual standard batteries, one in each panel. Unfortunately, that requires them to actually claim that the iPhone X exceeded market expectations - which it didn't - and that Samsung is behind in the technology stakes - which it isn't. We've already heard from analysts that 2019 will be the year we'll see the foldable handset, meaning a CES unveiling could be on the cards. A follow-up report in May said that Samsung was planning the Galaxy X announcement for next year's Mobile World Congress in February, with the Galaxy S10 to be unveiled a month earlier in January at CES 2019.

As we approach the launch date of Samsung's Galaxy Note 9, which according to numerous posts, will take place on August 9, many details have begun to surface about the device. Assuming this is the case, it would make sense to debut the Galaxy X at CES, thereby keeping the spotlight on the S10 at MWC. Hopefully, we'll find out more in January.
