Samsung Galaxy J2 Core to be company’s first Android Go phone

Samsung has a NY event on 9 August for the Galaxy Note 9 - so it's highly likely that Bixby 2.0 and the smart speaker could be announced along with the flagship smartphone.

Samsung usually launches its Galaxy S flagship smartphones near the end of the first quarter, so it would make sense that shipments are higher in the second quarter.

Samsung is planning to unveil a new type of bendable, foldable smartphone that could sell for more than $1,500, according to the Wall Street Journal. While the Galaxy Note has always been an anticipated smartphone, there is good chance that it could be the last in its series.

The foldable phone isn't the only new Samsung device on the horizon, however. If the rumors are true, then one version can be supported by the S Pen is the main feature of the line Note.

No news if the watch will use Tizen or Android as the operating system, but traditionally the Galaxy branding is associated with Android within Samsung.

According to a report by The Bell, Samsung is struggling to adjust its flagship model lineup to defeat profitability deterioration caused by the saturation of the smartphone market.

It is expected that the capacity of battery will be increased from 380mAh to 470mAh.

The report tested 4G LTE speeds on some of the top devices and came to the conclusion that the Samsung Galaxy S9 did produce more favourable results than the iPhone X. Shipments of the Samsung Watch and smartphone are believed to begin on August 24.
