Moses will, however, hope to be part of the squad when Chelsea kick-start their pre-season with a friendly against Perth Glory on July 23 before entering the International Champions Cup at the end of the month.

Ross Barkley, Cesc Fabregas, Marcos Alonso and David Luiz were among those pictured alongside Conte on the club's official social media channels on Monday as he led a full session for players not involved at the World Cup in Russian Federation.

Conte is still now in charge, but Maurizio Sarri is expecting to be cleared to replace him as manager of Chelsea at the start of next week.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are struggling to agree a compensation package with current manager Antonio Conte - who is said to have been absent from training at Cobham this week.

Conte is still under contract at the Stamford Bridge outfit but is expected to leave the Premier Leave side as soon as Maurizio Sarri is finally named as new manager.

Antonio Conte is expected to return to Chelsea to take first-team training on Monday despite uncertainty over his future at the club.

The prolonged uncertainty surrounding Conte and Sarri has had a paralysing effect on Chelsea's transfer plans in a window already complicated by the World Cup and compressed by the Premier League's earlier deadline, set for August 9.

Ross Barkley, Pedro, Cesc Fabregas, Tiemoue Bakayoko Marcos Alonso and David Luiz were among the big names to have returned. The West London club will not be eligible to play in the Champions League next term after missing out on a top 4 spot.
