Giallorossi leadership consider Donnarumma as their top target to replace the Brazilian, and the 19-year-old's agent, Mino Raiola, is familiar with the club having recently orchestrated Justin Kluivert's transfer to Rome.

The Daily Telegraph are reporting that Liverpool have made a world record offer of up to €70m to sign Roma's Brazilian keeper Alisson, who played a key role in the club's run to last season's Champions League semi-finals.

Liverpool have reportedly made a decision to lodge an offer of £62m for Roma goalkeeper Alisson.

Alisson started every game for Brazil at the World Cup, which ended at the quarter-final stage for the Samba Boys following a 2-1 loss against Belgium.

Goal understands that the Roma brass would like to keep Alisson for next season, but would be willing to give the player his desired move away if they can have a replacement in place.

Recent speculation suggests Madrid have pulled out of the race for Alisson leaving Liverpool and Chelsea to go head-to-head over a deal which is expected to cost in excess of £60m.

Attention shifted to the Brazil worldwide long before Loris Karus' error-strewn performance in the Champions League final against Real Madrid.

The same story says that Chelsea FC are also being linked with a move to sign Alisson this summer, as the uncertainty about Thibaut Courtois' future at the club continues.
