Other specs include a Snapdragon 625 processor, 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual rear cameras, front camera, 4000mAh battery, AI Face Unlock, and Xiao AI Assistant.

Are you interested in either of Xiaomi's new devices? Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is available in multiple RAM and storage variants - 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 32GB, and 4GB+ 64GB.

The same AI Face Unlock feature is touted, and the marketing materials suggest that Xiaomi considers this a gaming and entertainment device. There is no notch on this device and we also expect to see relatively thicker bezels on the top and bottom of the display. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro has been launched at a starting price of CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 10,500) for the basic variant.

Xiaomi has finally announced its most awaited and speculated Redmi 6 Pro as a mid-range smartphone in the Redmi series.

In terms of performance, the Mi Pad 4 is powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with Adreno 512 GPU.

The Mi Pad 4's release comes at a tough time for tablets, whose shipments have declined for 14 straight quarters, according to figures from IDC. Another key difference is the presence of a microSD card slot for further expansion on the Mi Pad 4. The company launched the Redmi 6 and 6A just last week, and the Redmi 6 Pro is positioned as a slightly higher specc-ed version of the former. The phone will ship with MIUI 9 based on Android 8.1 Oreo which will be updated to MIUI 10. It will go on sale in China from tomorrow, June 26th. The tablet packs a metal build and will be available in Wi-Fi only and there will be a cellular version with Nano SIM as well.

Xiaomi is also offering a slightly upgraded version of the Mi Pad 4. There's no word yet if the Mi Pad 4 will be introduced in other markets aside from China, but it's important to note that its LTE connectivity might not work in North America. The smartphone comes in five different colour options - Black, Blue, Gold, Pink, and Red. The 4GB RAM with 64GB memory is CNY1,399 ($125) while the LTE model costs CNY2,399 ($230). The tablet comes with a 13MP OV13855 sensor on the back with an f/2.0 aperture, while on the front is a 5MP resolution Samsung S5K5E8 sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
