Nabil Fekir's agent says the Olympique Lyon star could still join Liverpool this summer.

Nabil Fekir is the latest to feature in one of these annoying summer-long sagas and he and his agent have been as cryptic as possible.

The 24-year-old's agent, though, has stated that the attacker - who is part of the France squad for the ongoing World Cup in Russian Federation - could still become a Liverpool this summer, despite a deal between the Reds and Lyon breaking down before the World Cup.

The French worldwide has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield in recent months following an impressive campaign that saw the 24-year-old provide 23 goals and 8 assists for Lyon last season and it looked like a switch to Merseyside was on the cards.

We'll have to wait and see whether Liverpool reignite talks to sign Fekir but the player is now with the French squad at the World Cup finals so any potential deal will have to wait until their tournament is over.

Fekir was doing a press conference with the French national team this morning and, of course, he was asked about the Liverpool speculation.

"My knee is super-good", he said.

It appears this frustrating transfer saga for Liverpool supporters still has a few more turns left. "We will see about all that later", he said.

"It was great to see [Lyon president] Jean-Michel Aulas yesterday at [World Cup base] Istra but we did not at all discuss my situation at Lyon".

"You know I am here with France, I am happy, and I am not here to discuss my personal situation. But I honestly feel like before my injury", he told reporters.
