The Kings, like most teams, want to continue to review Porter's medical records before selecting him. In fact, according to Chelsea Howard of Sporting News, Porter only played the first two minutes of Missouri's season opener. Bulls doctors performed the physical on Porter that was shared with all interested National Basketball Association teams because of the agency's longstanding relationship with the club and the proximity.

Porter missed nearly all of Missouri's 2017-18 basketball season after undergoing back surgery after the Tigers played just a couple games.
