Sony and Spider-Man: Homecoming producer Amy Pascal are set to develop a movie about relatively new Marvel Comics superhero Silk (aka Cindy Moon), according to Deadline.

"Spider-Man: Far From Home" is due in theaters on July 5, 2019 and features Holland back as the teenage webslinger. But I got the new script.

The follow up to Spider-Man: Homecoming, which many have been calling Homecoming II, will actually be called: Spider-Man: Far from Home.

Later, during a Q&A panel at ACE Comic Con in Seattle, Kevin Smith, the panel host brought up the incident where Holland confirmed the title.

The sequel's existence casts doubt over the events shown in Infinity War, which showed Peter Parker perish- along with half the universe and half the Avengers-at the hands of the villainous Thanos.

Talking to his fans, Tom said, "I wanted to apologize because there is no real revelation coming out this weekend about Spider-Man 2". I don't know much about it. We even heard as far back as last June - nearly a year before Infinity War dropped - that the Homecoming sequel would find Parker dealing with the fallout from the latest Avengers movie. "I'm super excited to read it", Holland said in the video. "So yeah, Spider-Man 2, let's do this". The primary antagonist will be played by Jake Gyllenhaal.

Jon Watts will direct from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.

Tom Holland's habit of "spoiling" the biggest secrets of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (not to be confused with Mark Ruffalo's actual spoilers) continued on Saturday night.

At least now we know the name as the world anxiously awaits Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019.
