Respawn’s Star Wars Game Officially Titled Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order!

EA-owned Respawn Entertainment could tease a new Star Wars game at EA Play, EA's pre-E3 2018 event.

Zampella revealed that you will play a Jedi and, yes, you will be able to wield the series' signature lightsaber weapon. Co-founder Vince Zampella stopped by EA's E3 presentation to share the name, release time, and a few admittedly vague details of its upcoming title.

Electronic Arts has the first press briefing of this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo. "And now, with a new team led by Stig Asmussen, we get to see what they can do when you combine that great attention to gameplay with the power of Star Wars", Soderlund's post reads.

Respawn CEO Vince Zampella briefly talked about the game while sitting in the audience. EA's acquisition of Respawn was said to be in pursuit of a new Titanfall game, but there haven't been any announcements or leaks about that one yet. Now we know and it's called Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. Star Wars: Fallen Jedi Order will showcase the time in which the Jedi are being hunted down by the evil Empire. The game is expected to launch during the Holiday 2019 season.
