Trump also had kind words for Chinese President Xi Jinping in the interview, describing him as "an incredible guy" and noting that he is "essentially president for life".

Pompeo dismissed a report from North Korea's official KCNA about this week's meeting between Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. So we will never be able to fully satisfy North Korea short of giving up all of our nuclear weapons.

But, Pompeo said that was not the case.

In Beijing on Thursday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said China had agreed not to press for quick sanctions relief. "Only then, there will be a relief from the sanctions".
