Choose your story, your background, and how the world of Cyberpunk 2077 perceives you.

Cyberpunk 2077 is likely to be at least a year or two away yet, so it makes sense for CD Projekt Red to keep its options open.

The thing that makes me most want to leave the meat space (a cyberpunk term for the "real world") for Cyberpunk 2077 though, it's a huge open world game that's a closed single-player experience at a time when it feels like nearly every large game is throwing us into always online space. However, there was still no gameplay shown, nor was much information provided apart from some implied details about the world you'll play in.

This change in player perspective has changed the perspective of several potential players who worry that CD Projekt Red is abandoning the hardcore RPG stylings of The Witcher series for a more digestible shooter action game.

All-in-all those who witnessed the Cyberpunk demo note that you should stop expecting this to be a cyberpunk version of The Witcher.

We learn about the protagonist V, that players can shape however they want, some information about the story, and plenty about gameplay, which will be in first-person perspective.

While the viewpoint is in the first person for shooting and moving around, driving can be done in first or third person. Each thing you do affects something, be it yourself or the world around you.

The streets are bustling, things are happening around you in a way that makes you feel as if they'd be happening whether you were there to initiate them or not. If players aren't happy with their starting apartment, it sounds like they'll be able to use their "blood money" to invest in additional properties. The game will also feature interactive dialogue that will impact the game in true CD Projekt RPG fashion.

You can also enter buildings, even mega buildings with multiple floors.

In addition to the live demo and more details, CD Projekt Red released a bunch of screenshots from the game and, hopefully, we will not wait long for the next update.
