"Somehow Rudy Giuliani thinks my client isn't entitled to be believed because she was in the adult industry", he said.

"She believes her husband, and she doesn't think it's true", Giuliani said.

The first lady's spokeswoman reproached Giuliani for his comments on Thursday, CNN reports.

The porn star also alleges President Trump's former personal attorney "hatched a plan to have Ms. Clifford appear on Mr. Sean Hannity's program to falsely deny the accuracy of the In Touch article".

The lawsuit, filed in the Superior Court of California, is just the latest in Daniels' continuing onslaught against Cohen, led by her Los Angeles-based lawyer, Michael Avenatti - and all rooted in Daniels' alleged sexual encounter with Trump in 2006. He said Daniels "should be celebrated for her courage, strength and intelligence" and that he "would be put her character up against Mr. Giuliani's any day of the week".

The former GOP mayor of NY also attacked Daniels, an adult film actress who alleges she had an affair with Trump more than a decade ago, personally and denied that sex workers had credibility. Trump and Cohen have denied the affair, and have argued that the hush-money payment was made only to protect the real estate mogul and his family.

An hour later, with no response from Davidson, Cohen folds and says, "let's forget tonight".

"Thankfully, the truth can now finally come out to rebut the false narrative about Attorney Davidson that Mr Avenatti has been pushing in his more than 175 television appearances and countless other media interviews".

"Melania Trump is classy and gorgeous, and I really admire her", Kelly said.

Daniels filed a lawsuit against the president and his lawyer, Michael Cohen, in an attempt to void a $130,000 non-disclosure agreement she signed shortly before his election. "It's that 'what he said from Tel Aviv from the stage is not something I've ever said.' Rudy Giuliani said she doesn't believe the accusations".

Davidson also represented former Playmate of the Year Karen McDougal in 2016 when the National Enquirer paid her $150,000 for her story of an alleged affair with Trump 10 years earlier, intending not to publish it - what's known as a "catch and kill" deal.
