Amazon offers a number of benefits to its Prime members in India.

Amazon Prime Day will be held July 16, according to a leak.

Amazon Prime Day 2018 will be happening on Tuesday July 17th, with the insane deal-a-thon kicking off at midday the day before - Monday the 16th. TechRadar initially noticed the teaser banner, but when contacted for a response to the apparent spillage of the beans, Amazon did not reply. Not only that it says this year Prime day will run for 36 hours.

Our original prediction for Prime Day 2018 was that it would take place on July 10th and 11th - but those are, of course, the days of the first and second semi-finals at the FIFA World Cup in Russian Federation - not hard to see why Amazon would want to avoid those dates. In 2017, the sales extravaganza went on for a little more than 24 hours.

The website analyzed Amazon's deals on Black Friday and Prime Day and found that in 2016, 77% of Prime Day prices were better than comparable deals offered on Black Friday. Just to reiterate. July 16.

As ever the Prime Day deals are exclusive to Prime members, and you'll have to sign up before the big day to take advantage of any savings.

While Amazon's best-sellers during Prime Day are generally their own devices, like the Echo, Kindle, and Fire TV Stick, this year could be a bit different. In fact, Prime Day 2017 a year ago surpassed Black Friday and Cyber Monday, becoming the most significant day in Amazon history when it comes to revenue. As CNBC notes, last year, Target began its back-to-school sale the same week as Prime Day, and J.C. Penney hosted its own "Penney Palooza" sale online. TechRadar also thinks Amazon will reduce prices of other services like Audible.
