While Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri and Chelsea's Antonio Conte remain on the list, the club has apparently started to look at other options.

Zinedine Zindane's former French team-mate Robert Pires believes the ex-Real Madrid coach could easily manage in the Premier League.

Raul's brilliant relationship with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is also close.

Former Los Blancos stars Michael Laudrup and Jose Miguel Gonzalez Martin del Campo, also known as Michel, were added to Real's list of potential candidates by Marca, and even Clarence Seedorf's name has been mentioned.

It is being claimed that Madrid view Conte as the only top level manager who is likely to be available this summer and they are prepared to makea move for the Chelsea FC boss. "He was the coach I wanted here".

"I know Zidane well, I worked with him and enjoyed it for four years, and the same thing happened when he retired: we tried to convince him not to leave because we were enjoying it and because we thought it wasn't the right time to do it".

"When we talk about Zidane, I think he's one of the best managers, because in two-and-a-half years he won all the titles they can win", Pires told Sky Sports News as he attended the launch of Arsenal's new second kit.

Guti scored 77 goals in 542 games for Madrid between 1995 and 2010, winning five La Liga titles and three Champions League trophies, while drawing mixed reviews from pundits and coaches for his carefree attitude on and off the pitch.

That's what makes "real" as soon as possible to determine the successor of Zidane.
