Huntsman's gaffe occurred as Fox News aired footage of Trump arriving in Singapore for a summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

At first, everything appeared to be flowing smooth as Huntsman was covering Trump's arrival in Singapore for his summit with Kim Jong-un.

But the daughter of US Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman later apologised on air for what she had said.

While Scaramucci didn't seem to give a nod to Huntsman's accidental shade, a whole lot of people on Twitter noticed the moment. "Regardless of what happens in that meeting between the two dictators".

The "Fox and Friends" presenter apologised to viewers after referring to the leaders as "two dictators" ahead of their historic meeting in Singapore Tuesday.

I "feel really great, we're gonna have a great discussion and a terrific relationship", Trump said.

Then, Trump led Kim to a hotel entrance, allowing Kim to walk ahead of him into the place where the two men are scheduled to meet for almost an hour.

"Now let's all move on to things that actually matter", Huntsman said in a tweet.

She apologized for calling both men dictators and added, "I did not mean to say that".

Many described Huntsman's words as a "Freudian slip", while others claimed the network, known for its favorable coverage of Trump, had finally told "the truth".

The two leaders are staying at separate hotels during the summit, with Kim opting for the St Regis and President Trump choosing the Shangri La.
