Chazelle (Whiplash) and Gosling (Blade Runner 2049) are teaming up again following the smashing success of the 2016 musical La La Land for the film based on James Hansen's biography "First Man: A Life Of Neil A. Armstrong".

Chazelle has rounded up a spectacular cast, which includes Kyle Chandler, Pablo Schreiber, Jason Clarke, Ciaran Hinds and Corey Stoll, among others and it has our space nerd sense tingling.

All the way through, Armstrong is confident of his mission, while those around him are not as certain. Speaking to another reporter, Armstrong mentioned that down on Earth you look up and don't think too much about the moon. She imagines her husband travelling 240,000 miles to land on the moon, telling her husband that it wasn't just another trip, adding that he isn't just "going to work". First Man will launch into theaters October 12.
