JUMP FORCE features Goku, Luffy, Naruto and many more famous characters, in which fights will take place on planet Earth in iconic landmarks including New York City's Times Square and the Matterhorn in the Alps. Light from Death Note was teased in the debut trailer as well. Now, I'm not saying that Jump Force steps over Infinity War, but with the very little we know, it's already primed to be part of the conversation. Looks like Bandai Namco is finally updating the tech used for anime games, which is also refreshing. So while the title isn't as exciting as it could be, it does harken back to these popular series' roots: their original manga in Weekly Shonen Jump. That's because this crossover game isn't just the merging of the Jump universes, but also with the "real world" or reality. Again, sorry-not-sorry for making Jump Force my own personal anime torture device. However, Jump Force has fans think it will be more of an open-world fighter than more traditional arcade franchises. For a proper anniversary celebration, it'd be great to see some classic series represented, too, like Yu Yu Hakusho, Fist of the North Star, Cobra, Rurouni Kenshin... hey, let's have one of the kids from Slam Dunk smash Naruto in the face with a basketball, while we're at it?
