Teen crashes Blake Bortles party because he couldn't steal his truck: cops

Bortles was with several teammates at a party at offensive lineman Brandon Linder's beach house when he noticed a young teenager crashing the gathering on Wednesday.

A Jacksonville high school student, 18-year-old Joseph Horton, was arrested Wednesday night after he was caught allegedly attempting to steal Bortles' vehicle from the driveway before entering the house uninvited, Jacksonville News 4 reported Thursday.

And the pickup truck's owner?

Police said Joseph Horton tried to steal Bortles' truck, but it was blocked in by other cars, so he abandoned trying to steal it, and invited himself into the house park at Jaguars center Brandon Linder's luxury home on Jacksonville Beach.

The video was said to show Horton removing Bortles' wallet from the truck, which was later found on the ground. After it became clear that no one else at the party knew Horton, the police were called. Bortles said that nothing appeared to have been removed from the wallet.

Not only that - he went upstairs.

The video shows the man - 18-year-old Joseph Horton - going back inside Linder's house. and that's when the players stopped him and held him until police arrived.

Horton was arrested and charged with burglary, trespassing, and grand theft, the station said, adding that he's since been released on bond.
