On Sunday, the sun will rise at 6:12:55 a.m. and set at 8:40:41 p.m. In Hastings, at 12:59 p.m. Thursday, the Hastings Airport reported a wind gust of 72 miles per hour. A cold front may move through by the end of next week dropping temperatures off, but the front may also linger nearby into at least the start of next weekend making for more shower and t-storm chances. Precipitation overnight could reach about half an inch.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 11:00 p.m. for northern Virginia as well as western Maryland. Northeast wind 8 to 10 miles per hour. High near 69. East wind around 8 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

South Jersey is under a tornado watch Saturday night until 1 a.m. Sunday. It will be mostly cloudy, with a low of about 56. Northeast wind 8 to 10 miles per hour. Light southwest wind. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Monday:A slight chance of showers before 8am, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm.
