Samsung has confirmed the launch of the much-awaited Galaxy J6 (2018) on May 21. Samsung Galaxy J6 will likely be a budget offering priced under Rs 15,000 given this is a budget series from the company.

With the smartphone market in India burgeoning with new users and increasing demands, it will be interesting to see whether Samsung's new Galaxy J6 manages to woo the customers. The Galaxy A6+ will come with an MRP of Rs 28,000.

After giving its A-series the Infinity treatment, Samsung looks set to bring bezel-less screens to the masses in India through its affordable Galaxy J line-up. It's going to do just that with the Galaxy J6, although India Today Tech has learned there may be at least one more Galaxy J phone coming along with Samsung's hallmark Infinity display in the days to come.

According to the leaked specifications, Galaxy J6 will have a 5.6-inches display with an HD+ resolution (720p) which will be 1480×720 pixels. There are reports which suggested that the camera selection of the tablet will be high-end, with a 12-megapixel camera sensor on the rear and on the front the tablet will house an 8-megapixel camera sensor. Though not official, the FCC certification of the J6 did reveal that the device will run on Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung's own Experience skin on top and will equip a 3,000mA battery.
