This was followed by the reports that said Thomas has chose to not walk Meghan down her aisle for her wedding with Prince Harry.

Mr Markle reportedly told TMZ that he's back in hospital after experiencing chest pains after he suffered a suspected heart attack.

Meghan Markle's half-sister, Samantha Markle reportedly supported her father and blamed herself for all the staged photos.

Mr Markle told TMZ that Meghan had said she does not have any ill feelings towards him for staging the photos.

He was reportedly so upset by the reaction the photos that he chose to not attend the wedding. I think [her family] have been subject to a lot of scrutiny.

Markle, 36, decided against having a maid-of-honor because she has a close-knit group of friends and didn't want to choose one over the others, Kensington Palace said in a recent press briefing.

"Of course I'd walk her down the aisle", he told the outlet. "The media was unfairly making him look bad so I suggested he do positive photos for his benefit and the benefit of the royal family". Reports have speculated that the royal bride-to-be's mother, Doria Ragland, 61, will be the person to give her daughter away on Saturday.

However, it has now been reported that he wants to fly to England for the royal wedding after Meghan reached out to him - but there's a slight problem. They stated: "This is a deeply personal moment for Ms Markle in the days before her wedding".

It is now unclear who - if anyone - will accompany Meghan on her walk down the aisle.

While Meghan is close with her mother Doria, who will ride with her in the vehicle on the way to St George's Chapel, she has a strained relationship with her father and half-brother and sister, who have all given outspoken and often cruel interviews to the media about her. "All the British vegetables are just coming into season", royal chef Mark Flanagan told reporters. She never disinvited him.

Prince Harry and his elder brother Prince William have both made clear in the past their dislike of the press, fuelled by the death of their mother Princess Diana in a Paris auto crash in 1997 as her limousine sped away from chasing paparazzi.

Also selected for the much-anticipated event at Windsor Castle on Saturday are the couple's goddaughters and godson, and the children of one of her best friends.

Thomas Markle had been due to fly into the United Kingdom in the days before the wedding to spend time with the British royal family, including Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh.
