For more social interactivity, the update also adds a new sharing feature that lets you trim your recent game captures directly from the Guide to enable direct posting to Twitter.

No Man's Sky next update called Next has a release date. Players will get all previous updates (Foundation, Pathfinder, and Atlas Rises) along with No Man's Sky Xbox One Edition, which will also have a retail edition, courtesy of 505 Games.

Previously, players in the game were not even able to see each other, let alone interact, though last year's Atlas Rises update rectified that by having each spacefarer represented by a odd, glowing orb.

Players will be able to interact with each and still do everything else in the game, including newer features like base-building and racing ground-based vehicles.

'We've been playtesting multiplayer for the last six months, and the game has evolved into a very new experience that we think the community will enjoy. Once you've done all that, though, your Discord friends will be able to see what you're playing on Xbox Live, which is pretty neat. "Your group can build anything from tiny shelters to complex colonies spanning planets, and everything is shared online for others to visit". This includes exploring the universe and attacking other teams to epic space battles. I'm so happy this is finally happening, ' commented Murray.

No Man's Sky has a lot we're going to surprise people with the Next update and I can't wait until we can share more as we lead up to launch on July 24. Players were furious and it was one of many "lies" that led to the game's downfall and negative reception.
