Update 0.5.0 has added a new map, with the desert themed Miramar now available to play for mobile users. This map not only offers new areas to explore, but new weapons and vehicles, too. One of the few advantages that PUBG has over Fortnite is its variety of maps, and now that they are beginning to make their way to the mobile version of the game, it will be interesting to see how the fans react.

PUBG Mobile is constantly in the state of change with new features and improvements brought to the roster on a very regular basis.

For those who are just starting the PUBG Mobile experience, check out the progress awards - this will give you XP rewards as you move through the levels. The new v0.5.0 update is now officially released on both iOS and Android platforms! There's the aforementioned desert map, Progress Missions, Secret Stash, Local Quick Teams, and more. By completing these weekly missions, players can expect to unlock shiny rewards.

Miramar has been in the PC version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds since late 2017, although it has yet to come to the Xbox. If you have people physically near you that also play PUBG Mobile, you can enter a six-digit code to team up with them.
