Florida K9 Officer Jeremie Nix Saves Motorist's 3-Month-Old Baby

'GOD had me in the right place because he knew you needed me. Deputy Nix tried life-saving measures, but when the didn't work he put the baby in his patrol vehicle and rushed him to a hospital in Ocala, Florida.

Deputy Jeremie Nix was on his way home when a woman flagged him down in the Orlando area.

A Marion County, Florida Sheriff's K9 deputy is being called a hero today after he saved the life of a 3-month old baby.

Dash cam video shows a Florida sheriff's deputy coming to the rescue of a mother and her 3-month-old boy Kingston.

The deputy quickly pulled around to the woman's vehicle and began to perform life-saving measures on the child.

The infant's distraught mom Nechole Crowell had her hazard lights on and desperately flagged down Deputy Nix for assist.

The post goes on to say "Deputy Nix delivered the child to medical personnel, who then began treating the child".

The officer took the baby to the emergency room where he is said to be "doing very well" and expected to make a full recovery. That prompted Nix to turn his vehicle around and pull over on the side of the road.

According to doctors, the officer's quick actions saved the boy's life.

Doctors credit Deputy Nix's with saving the child's life.
