A Walt Disney World spokesperson confirmed no guests or cast members were injured.

During the Festival of Fantasy Parade at Disney's Magic Kingdom, the Maleficent Dragon float, which travels the streets of the park, actually caught fire, sending flames and smoke into the sky.

A dragon float was supposed to be breathing fire, but the dragon's head ended up engulfed in flames.

The dragon was created to bob its head, while blowing smoke and fire in the air, but the flames engulfed it.

Officials "took very quick action and cleared the area", Disney said.

A handful of photos and videos posted on social media show just how insane the whole incident looked to visitors in the kingdom.

The fire was quickly put out and nobody was hurt.

The spokeswoman said the company was still in the process of figuring out what went wrong.

"Poor Maleficent the dragon set on fire during the Festival of Fantasy Parade yesterday", one Twitter user tweeted about the unfortunate accident.
