Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been speaking to the press today ahead of his sides Premier League fixture against West Brom on Sunday.

While they are securing game-time, between the league and Champions League the forwards have only started a combined total of 37 games.

Reports emanating from France have suggested that Martial wants to leave Old Trafford because his opportunities to play have been significantly reduced since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal in January.

Every time Rashford or Martial seem to hit form or be verging on a run of games, Jose Mourinho pulls them back from the fray.

NAIJ.com previously reported that Premier League campaigners Manchester United are reportedly ready to sell Frenchman Anthony Martial at the end of the ongoing League season in England.

But he has made more overall appearances than any other United player this season.

Rashford had also questioned his future at the club.

However, Mourinho says the duo are part of his system but can not guarantee playing time to either of them. "If I was you I would go in another direction [with your questions]", he added.

"At every club and every level, you need more than 11 players and only 11 can start, is as simple as that, there's nothing I can do".

"In our case, we come from a big result and during the week I was trying to fight that result by working well and hard and making the players understand it is not enough to deserve second".

Mourinho also spoke of Lukaku: the Portuguese boss was asked whether he would sign another striker to provide the Belgian with competition for places, but he insists he is happy with his attacking options. I probably have to reduce and have a squad of 12 or 13 players. "Obviously, to finish fourth, we need four or five points, but to finish second we need much more than that". I am surprised because of the quality and experience of numerous players and the squad.
