Granddaughter says Barbara Bush in good spirits

USA television channel CBS appear to have wrongly reported the death of former First Lady Barbara Bush, who is in fact still alive but gravely ill. Bush wrote to her in the fall of 2016 after her husband passed away from cancer.

Bush said he's been re-reading his mom's memoir to her and has new appreciation for the memories she shared. "Mrs. Bush was my first boss right out of college and I traveled and worked with them for four and a half years".

That's 73 years of memories and becoming a staple in the coastal community. "They are surrounded by family, but I think the fact that they're together in this and he still says, 'I love you Barbie, ' every night is pretty remarkable". Her other sons, former President George W. Bush and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, have been in and out visiting her the past week. W.'s first term in the White House as vice president.

She continued: "Also, George Bush has given me the world". The two have been holding hands while he has been by her bedside.
