Philips Hue Outdoor Lights will Complete Your Alexa Addiction

At launch, the new outdoor products will include a trio of wall-mounted fixtures, spotlight and path lighting options, and a new, weather-rated Philips Hue outdoor floodlight bulb.

Philips' will offer three different types of lights in the outdoor Hue lineup, and they will be available in both the Philips Hue white and Philips Hue white and color ambiance ranges. The lights come in white as well as white and color ambiance. "While Philips Hue bulbs and luminaires are available for every area inside your home, we wanted to traverse the threshold and offer connected luminaires designed for outside areas". Like your indoor lights, you'll be able to tap to turn lights off or on, set schedules, and even have lights automatically turn on when you approach home.

For those with gardens, there's a spotlight aptly called the Lily, which starts at $279.99, and is created to highlight flower beds and features.

Designed for illuminating outdoor paths, Philips Hue Calla comes in a base pack with one bollard and installation accessories [~US$130].

You can get the bulbs starting in July throughout the United States and Europe.

Calla bollard will retail for Dollars 129.99 / Euro 139.99 as base unit pack. United States only: the PAR38 lamp will retail for Dollars 29.99 for a single pack and double pack for Dollars 49.99.

Back in January, the team from Philips Hue shared their plans for an outdoor line of color-changing smart lights (among other things). The company's latest outdoor smart lights are created to work alongside existing fixtures within Phillips' smart lights family.
