Pari's plotline revolves around the lives of Rukhsana (played by Anushka Sharma) and Arnab (played by Parambrata Chatterjee).

Released on Holi, the movie got off to an average opening at the domestic box office.

Luv Ranjan's Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety makes a great impact at the box office and in its second week and crosses the Rs 65 crore mark.

Reason for slow start of Pari. Did that hamper the numbers here is the collection Friday: 3.85 Crores, Saturday 4.65 Crores which brings to a total of 8.50 crores.

However, this collection report is not good enough as Anushka Sharma is much capable of getting high openings.

Anushka Sharma's horror flick, Pari has polarizing reviews, with some calling it a fresh, and horrifying entry into the genre that is going to reinvigorated it, while others have called it a chaotic mess. We are sure Anushka must be really happy with so many praises coming her way. The movie even beat Pari on its releasing day. The movie is being shown in 1,400 screens in India and has seriously benefited from the word of mouth by the audiences. Though this movie also not promoted a lot the movie still managed to collect Rs. 80 lakhs at the box-office.
