Rohit completed his 14th T20I fifty off 35 balls in the 12th over, but the runs nearly dried up as the skipper and Pandey managed just 15 runs in the next 3.5 overs. However, the 32-year old was not ready to give up until the last ball and he displayed enormous coolness to smash Rubel Hossain for two sixes and two boundaries to score 22 runs in the game-changing 19th over.

Karthik hit the final ball for a six to trigger wild celebration by a young India team.

Meanwhile, The Men in Blue needed five runs from the final ball, and it was Dinesh Karthik who smashed an MS Dhoni-style six to take home the Men in Blue with another trophy. Rohit Sharma was the captain for Indian team, whereas Shakib al Hasan was the captain for the Bangladesh team. In reply, India scored 168-6 at the end of 20 overs, courtesy a strong half-century from their captain and a composed finish from Dinesh Karthik.

WICKET! It is Unadkat at it again as he removes Rubel Hossain for a duck. Such was the carnage by Rohit, who hit two sixes of the Mehidy, that the offspinner never returned to bowl.

Earlier in the day, after being put into bat by Rohit, Sabbir Rahman's 77 off 50 balls took Bangladesh to a respectable total.

Dinesh Karthik scored 29 runs off just 8 deliveries and took Twitterati by surprise.

The wiry-framed leg-spinner got his third wicket when an in-form Mushfiqur Rahim (9) tried to hit inside out but was caught smartly by Shankar covering some distance on his right.

Chahal picked up 3/18 in his 4 overs while Washington Sundar - who was also named the man-of-the-series - ended with figures of 1/20.

Bangladesh openers Tamim Iqbal (15) and Litton Das (11) started off in a whirlwind fashion but Washington forced the latter to play a slog sweep and the ball ballooned for Raina to complete a lovely catch. The support we got here from this crowd was brilliant, it would be a bit different if we were playing Sri Lanka but I would like to thank them for their show tonight.

WICKET! Mahmudullah has been run-out for 21 runs as India get their fifth wicket. Thankfully for them, they had Karthik to follow. Unadkat then ended Rahman's innings in the penultimate over before dismissing Rubel Hossain for his second. He has just given away his wicket as that run was totally unnecessary, thereby costing his wicket. Karthik could manage just one in the next ball which left the equation at nine from three balls.
